Trinity for Organ

Trinity is intended as a musical exploration of the concept of God as triune, three-in-one, beyond human understanding.

The outer movements, Beyond Time and Transcendent, refer to utterly incomprehensible qualities of God, while the inner three movements each correspond to a person of the Trinity: Creator, God the Father; Redeemer, God the Son; and Sanctifier, God the Holy Spirit.

Trinity was composed as part of the 2017 American Guild of Organists (AGO) Student Commissioning Project, in collaboration with organist consultant Samantha Scheff (who also premiered the work).
